Account Deletion

You can delete your Mukpaw account and all of its data from inside the app.

How to delete your account

Open Mukpaw and go to your Profile tab.
Tap the gear icon in the top right to open Settings.
Choose Delete account.
Confirm twice. The second confirmation is final.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no way to restore an account once it has been deleted.

What gets deleted

Your account and sign-in details
Your display name, handle, and profile photo
All of your pet profiles
All of your posts, including photos and captions
Your pet situation notes and the AI Pet Translations generated from them
All of your product badges and your Locker
Your comments and likes, including those on other people's posts
Your push notification token

What may remain

Copies in encrypted backups, which are overwritten on a rolling basis
Security and error logs kept by our infrastructure providers for a limited period
Records we are required to keep by law, for example in connection with a reported safety issue
Aggregated usage statistics that cannot identify you

If you cannot access the app

If you have lost access to your account and cannot delete it yourself, email admin@mukpaw.com from the address you signed up with, and tell us your handle. We will verify your identity and delete the account for you.

Deleting individual content instead

If you only want to remove a single post, open it, tap the ••• menu, and choose Delete. Your product badges stay in your Locker when a post is deleted.
